On three test benches we check up to a power of 900kW \/ 1224HP. Each engine starts with a smooth idle running and a short inspection before the load increments slowly to maximum.<\/p>\n<p>Under full load the engine has to run minimum 30 minutes to ensure that all parameters from oil pressure to exhaust temperature are ok.<br \/>\nIt doesn\u00b4t matter if the engine is mechanical controlled, EDC, VP pump or with modern common rail injection equipment.
